We will offer and administer routine vaccinations and immunisations for the following diseases.
Children
All routine vaccinations to protect against:
- diphtheria;
- tetanus;
- pertussis (whooping cough;
- polio;
- haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib);
- hepatitis B;
- meningococcal group b;
- rotavirus gastroenteritis;
- pneumococcal infection;
- meningitis type c;
- measles;
- mumps;
- rubella;
Some vaccines are combined as a single dose, for example measles, mumps and rubella is a single injection against all three diseases.
Adults
The following are offered depending on age:
- pneumococcal infection (age 2-64 in a clinical risk group and everyone 65 and over);
- shingles (age 70 and over);
- measles, mumps and rubella (age 16 and over where incomplete vaccination in childhood);
- pertussis (for pregnant women from 16 weeks of pregnancy).
